Tinzo

What they do

Tinzo is a digital self-help app for people with tinnitus and hyperacusis. Users follow a personal programme with exercises, sound therapy, a journal and clear explanations, starting from a short TFI intake. No referral is needed; Tinzo complements professional care and does not replace it.

The app is a CE-marked, registered Class I medical device, developed according to European rules for medical software and "developed together with specialists and patients, in accordance with official guidelines for safe and reliable tinnitus care".

Tinzo originated from the personal experience of founder Koen, who developed tinnitus and hyperacusis in 2018. The company's stated ambition is inclusion in the Dutch basic health insurance package so that effective self-help is accessible to everyone. Tinzo B.V. is based in Ooij (Gelderland).
