What they do

Proud Nerds is a digital development agency based in Nijmegen. The company describes itself as "the tech partner that puts people first" and builds software, websites, platforms, apps and AI that, in its own words, "really work". Every project starts by understanding the client's organisation and users before designing and building.

Proud Nerds came about when four companies joined forces in 2017: Masc, Roquin, Netcreators and Riff Online, a group of developers from Nijmegen and Arnhem. It has since grown into an agency of more than 60 colleagues serving organisations in the Netherlands and abroad.

Its five expertises are Strategy, User Experience, Digital Product Development, AI Services and Digital Innovations. Markets include healthcare (formerly under the Health Nerds label), leisure, sport and fashion, manufacturing, government and social services.
