Care without a waiting list
Tinzo offers an accessible form of psycho-education and cognitive behavioural therapy for people with tinnitus. Everything is in one app, available straight away, without a waiting list. With Tinzo Pro, a hybrid care platform, it also connects care providers with the people looking for care.
A medical device
Tinzo is the only tinnitus app in the Netherlands, and one of the few in the world, that is CE-marked as a medical device (class I, MDR 2017/745). The company is also ISO 13485 certified, the international standard for quality management of medical devices.
Where it started
Tinzo grew out of the personal experience of its founder, Koen Broos, who developed tinnitus and hyperacusis in 2018. The ambition: getting effective self-help into the Dutch basic health insurance, so that everyone can use it.
