Synigo, a provider of digital workplace solutions from Deventer, has been acquired by Powell, the French workplace platform. For Powell it is the first step into the Netherlands.
The ten-year-old company keeps working under its own name for now, with its existing products. Founders Xavier Geerdink and Derk van Lochem stay responsible for the Dutch business. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
A stake since 2019
Isatis Group took a minority stake in Synigo in December 2019. With the sale, Isatis rolls over into Powell. That is why Powell Software is now one of the companies in our family.
About Powell
Powell turns Microsoft 365 into the intranet and digital workplace that people actually use. It works for more than 500 organisations and over two million users. In 2020 it raised €16 million in a Series A round, and last year Cathay Capital became its majority shareholder.
