"Complex eMobility problem? Good." That is how Plugz introduces itself. The Nijmegen company started in 2022 and has grown into a team of eMobility specialists, engineers and tech consultants who get their energy from complex software problems.

Plugz
Not by always adding more chargers, but by making better use of the technology, capacity and processes that are already there. That lowers costs and avoids building more than is needed.
For charge point operators, service providers and other companies in the charging world, Plugz builds web applications, customer portals and internal tools. It connects platforms, APIs and business systems, and turns repetitive work into smart workflows. It can take on a whole project or work alongside a client's own developers, with customers and partners across Europe.
A charger that waits for you
The first of its own products is a reservation platform. Drivers see at once which chargers at a location are free, and reserve one with a single tap. If every charger is taken, a smart queue lets them line up for later and keeps them posted. Messages go out by email, text and push notification, and LED lighting on the charger shows at a glance whether it is reserved. Operators get reports on how, when and how often their chargers are really used, so they can skip investments they do not need.
Joe picks up, day and night
The second product is Joe, an AI voice agent for EV drivers. Joe helps around the clock with routine charging problems, from a stuck cable to a home charger that has gone offline. He also watches charging networks and recovers errors the moment they appear, often before a driver notices anything.
For Plugz, the move to AI is a transition, not a switch. Joe works together with an experienced eMobility call centre: the AI handles what can be automated, people handle the rest. Both products grew out of four years as IT partner to charge point operators, guiding migrations, building apps and delivering a custom reservation platform.
